Life is not easy, but we are blessed to live it. I love Fishers with all that is has to offer.
Walking trails, parks, local shopping and eateries as well as entertainment for all ages, just to mention a few. It is a great community to raise a family.
We moved to Fishers 2001 for the amazing school system. I am proud to call myself an HSE parent. When tragedy hit our family in 2015 with the loss of my late husband Darren, our community and schools wrapped my family into their arms and kept us afloat. The teachers and staff at the schools were compassionate and caring. They made sure my children were functioning and achieving academic goals.
I am blessed with four children, Dakota HSE ’16, Colton FHS ’13, Cassidy HSE ’18, Canyon Freshman HSE. Three of my children are young independent adults. One with a four-year college degree, one in the United States Marines and one currently a junior at BSU. Their core came from HSE schools.
As my youngest child has entered his freshman year at HSE HS, I am excited about the opportunity to give back to the schools, students, teachers, staff, and parents. This is the very reason I am passionate about my candidacy for HSE school board.
I bring a wealth of experience and knowledge along with traditional values and conservative approach while understanding the challenges in an ever-changing society, economy and environmental community.
Let’s return to Students FIRST and Excellence in Education in Hamilton Southeastern Schools.
I look forward to serving this community so please vote this November Suzanne Thomas for HSE School Board.
Thank you for your support!
